Hi Miss! My daughter, Emma, has an assignment on Intensive Pronouns,. She understands that these pronouns add emphasis, but sometimes she gets them mixed up with reflexive pronouns.

I tried explaining that the sentence should still make sense without the pronoun, but she’s still unsure when to use himself, herself, or themselves in different contexts.

Do you have any tips that might help her remember the difference?

Hi!! my friend and I were at the grocery store, and we started debating how to pronounce "salmon." I’ve always said it one way, but she insists it’s different.

Hi! My friend said that her younger brother, a minor, dreams of becoming a miner one day to dig for gold. The wordplay confused me for a moment. Can you explain how these two words differ in meaning and usage?

Hello teacher, last weekend in the park, I overheard a child tell her parent, "I threw the ball through the hoop!" I paused for a moment, confused by how similar the words sounded but realized they meant totally different things. Can you please explain the difference between "threw" and "through."

Helloz All ☺️ I hope you're having a great day!
My kiddo understands the basics of Indefinite Articles (a/an) , but certain exceptions—like words starting with silent "h" or vowel sounds—are confusing.

Would you have any tips or simple explanations to help clarify this?

Sam, my son was chatting online, his friend wrote "I peekt over the fence." He wasn’t sure whether his friend meant "peeked" or "peaked," so he asked me for clarification. Was there a difference between the two, or was this just a typo?

Lena has sentences with it’s and its, and we’re not sure about the difference. One sentence says, It’s going to rain, and another says, The dog wagged its tail. Can you help us understand the rule here? 🙏

Serrah my girl has English assignment about Coordinating Conjunctions concept, sometimes we struggle with choosing the right conjunction in more complex sentences.

We’ve gone over examples, but we still gets confused when deciding between "but" and "yet" or "nor" and "or." If you have any simple explanations or strategies that could make this clearer, I’d really appreciate it!

Hi! I heard someone say "enigmatic puzzle" in a documentary, and it sounded different from how I’ve been saying it. Now I’m second-guessing myself every time I try to use the phrase. Can you tell me the correct pronunciation?

Dear Miss, so my friend wrote a romantic Instagram post about his "fiancée," Sarah, but his French friend corrected him. "Fiancée with two ‘e’s’ is for a woman, mate—unless there's something you're not telling us!" it is funny no 😂😂? but what is the difference between one e and two ee ?

Hello :) , I heard actors and speakers use "Red leather yellow leather" as a warm-up. Why do people practice with this phrase? and how to pronounce this?

Morniing <3 I hope you're having a good day! My little child has been working on an Adjective Clause exercise for English, and while he understands the theory, applying it in writing seems to be hard. We're having difficulty understanding how to properly connect ideas and choose the right pronouns for different situations.

Could you kindly provide some pointers or explanations on how to approach this?
