Can You Help Me with Direct Object Practice With Example?

a) Lily bakes a delicious cake.
b) They explore the deep ocean.
c) Sam runs to school every morning.
Could you check if we’re getting them right?

Hi, Rama Devi.
Let me give you a hand with these sentences.
a) Lily bakes a delicious cake. (present tense)
- Lily baked a delicious cake. (past tense)
- Lily will bake a delicious cake. (future tense)
b) They explore the deep ocean. (present tense)
- They explored the deep ocean. (past tense)
- They are going to explore the deep ocean. (future tense)
c) Sam runs to school every morning. (present tense)
- Sam ran to school yesterday. (past tense)
- Sam is going to run to school tomorrow. (future tense)
*You should change the time expression (every morning, yesterday, tomorrow) for the third sentence because 'every morning' should be in the Present Tense and can't be used in Past or Future Tenses.*
