Meet your English teacher Shim!

Hello! My name is Shim. I started my teaching journey as a home tutor in 2021, and after graduating, I began working as an online ESL teacher in 2024. I love teaching children—it warms my heart to see their excitement when they learn something new. My teaching style is student-centered, fun, and interactive. I encourage students to speak confidently, understand word meanings, and use them correctly in sentences. I also include stories, games, and real-life examples to make lessons fun and effective. As someone who loves reading, I aim to inspire my students to enjoy learning English and build strong communication skills. Parents can trust that in my class, children will learn in a positive, engaging, and supportive environment that helps them grow with confidence.
