Meet your English teacher Harlene!

Hi! I'm Harlene, and I started teaching in 2015. I've been an ESL teacher for over two years now, assisting children and adults in developing confidence in studying English. My lessons are interactive, energetic, and fun. We sing, act, and learn through enjoyable activities that make each lesson fun and easy to understand. I always ensure that my students feel guided and supported step by step. Teaching brings me joy as I witness my students develop, become more confident, and have fun applying English in their everyday lives. During my leisure time, I enjoy watching movies, hiking, and singing. My hobbies allow me to remain innovative, active, and prepared to inject new ideas into my classes. My Superpower is making lessons come alive through acting and storytelling. Parents should select me because I establish a welcoming, patient, and supportive learning environment in which students can voice their opinions freely and enjoy learning.
