Meet your English teacher Alma G!

Hello! I’m Teacher Alma G, and I’m so excited to be your English teacher! In 2024, I began teaching English. Teaching brings me joy especially when I see my students smiling, learning, and growing with confidence. My teaching style is interactive and communicative. I love using real-world conversations, question-and-answer activities, and Total Physical Response (TPR) to help children remember vocabulary and understand grammar. You’ll often see me doing fun actions like “Give me five!”, waving “hello!”, or giving a big thumbs up! These help kids stay focused, have fun, and learn naturally. In my classes, students don’t just sit and listen—they participate, move, speak, and play! I believe that when children are engaged, they learn better. I also give positive feedback and rewards like stars and praise to motivate them and show how much they’re improving. Parents can feel confident choosing me as a teacher because I create a learning environment where students feel safe to try, make mistakes, and express themselves. I use games, role-playing, and interactive drills to help students build confidence and have fun while learning. Outside the classroom, I love reading, crafting, storytelling, watching English movies, playing word games and puzzles, and even doing aerobic dance to stay active and energized! These hobbies help me bring creativity, movement, and fun into every lesson. My Superpower is dreaming of flying around the world—learning new languages, trying yummy traditional foods, collecting fun souvenirs, and making friends from every culture!
