Hello everyone! I am Denise. If you look up the definition of 'teacher' in the dictionary, you will see a picture of me next to it. I am a teacher with a great love for teaching, learning, and helping young minds develop. I aim to help my students gain so much confidence in their skills that they become independent as quickly as possible. As a qualified Foundation Phase teacher, I have been teaching since 1994, with experience in teaching a range of grades. I have been teaching online since 2020. My passion is ESL and helping students learn to speak and understand English! I have achieved great success with my students, helping them with Speaking, Reading, Phonics, Grammar, Spelling, and Comprehension. In my lessons, you can expect high energy, compassion, skilled knowledge, tons of patience, and lots of fun. I am very outgoing and enthusiastic and I always make sure that my students feel successful, confident and eager to learn. I am excited to meet you in my class! My Superpower is that I can usually get the most shy student to speak, smile and participate - even when they don't want to! I hope to see you soon!
