Our methodology

The NovaKid method of teaching is based on the effective and proven communicative approach combined with total physical response approach-TPR.

TPR. The method of learning from an entry level. Using facial expressions and gestures for achieving understanding of the material that is submitted in English.

Сommunicative approach. The approach that combines practicing communication with the study of grammar. Starting from the first lesson, the child becomes familiar with English speech and starts to practice speaking. This approach doesn’t allow a language barrier to form while also significantly speeding up further development of the language.

NovaKid offers individual lessons in which the student receives full attention from the teacher. It offers more opportunities for the teacher to engage with the student by communicating with them, and the student receives more feedback. In this way, a highly effective method of learning is achieved.

Every teacher in our school is a native English speaker, ensuring that the student’s language skills will develop rapidly in a full immersion of the English language. From the first lesson, the teacher will motivate their student to communicate in English.

NovaKid is designed not only for advanced students already speaking English, but for beginners trying to learn the language while starting from zero. During the lesson, teachers use different approaches to engage the student in the learning process, such as visual aids, TPR physical response techniques, and also interactive, collaborative learning games.

For developing beginner’s reading skills, NovaKid includes a modern approach of blended phonetics, which are used for learning how letters sound in addition to their names, and which also allow students to start reading faster. The NovaKid digital pen is used to develop the skill of writing.
