A complicare le cose c\u2019\u00e8 anche che lo stesso verbo pu\u00f2 avere significati completamente diversi a seconda del contesto (per esempio, guarda i significati di<\/span><b> take off <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">nella tabella pi\u00f9 gi\u00f9).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\ud83d\ude0d Ma sono anche una delizia, perch\u00e9 sono loro a farti fare lo scatto: da livello di<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.novakidschool.com\/it\/didattica\/inglese-per-principianti\/\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">inglese per principianti<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> a un <\/span><b>livello fluente<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, di chi se la cava davvero. Per questo, i phrasal verbs in inglese devi proprio saperli. Di fatto, chi non conosce il loro uso non pu\u00f2 dire di conoscere l\u2019inglese. Al contrario, <\/span><b>dalle combinazioni delle parole nasce un\u2019unit\u00e0 con un senso autonomo<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, tutto suo. Vediamo quali.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Phrasal verbs transitivi e separabili<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Come di sicuro sai, in inglese come in italiano i verbi transitivi sono quelli seguiti da un complemento oggetto, secondo lo schema:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>soggetto + verbo + complemento oggetto<\/b><\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Soggetto<\/span><\/td>\n<td><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Verbo<\/span><\/td>\n<td><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Oggetto<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mary<\/span><\/td>\n<td><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">discovered<\/span><\/td>\n<td><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">your secret<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ovviamente anche i phrasal verbs possono essere transitivi. Per\u00f2 pongono un (piccolo) problema di word order. Ovvero: il complemento oggetto va fra il verbo e la particella che segue, oppure dopo a tutto?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nei verbi frasali inglesi separabili il complemento oggetto pu\u00f2 inserirsi fra i due elementi, secondo lo schema seguente:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>soggetto + verbo + oggetto + preposizione<\/b><\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><b>Soggetto<\/b><\/td>\n<td><b>verbo<\/b><\/td>\n<td><b>oggetto<\/b><\/td>\n<td><b>preposizione<\/b><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mary<\/span><\/td>\n<td><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">found<\/span><\/td>\n<td><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">your secret<\/span><\/td>\n<td><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">out<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Insomma: la traduzione \u00e8 che Mary ha scoperto un segreto, nel primo esempio lo abbiamo espresso con un verbo transitivo ordinario, nel secondo esempio con un phrasal verb transitivo e separabile. Ma se leggi bene le righe sopra vedrai che abbiamo scritto: \u201c pu\u00f2 inserirsi\u201d. C\u2019\u00e8 un solo caso in cui l\u2019oggetto deve inserirsi fra il verbo e la particella: quando \u00e8 espresso da un pronome.
